OVERVIEW
The HIFZ ACADEMY at NBIC offers a nurturing environment for children ages 7 and up to embark on a meaningful journey of Quran memorization. Guided by esteemed instructor Qari Zahid Rafique, a Hafiz with over a decade of experience, students will strengthen their recitation skills and build a lasting connection with the Quran.

Meet Our Director
Qari Zahid Rafique is a respected Qari, Hafiz, Imam, and Munshid with over 22 years of experience teaching the Quran. He memorized the Holy Quran at a young age under the guidance of Qari Nazir Ahmed Al Tahiri. He then completed his ijaza and advanced training in Tajwid and Qira’a with Sheikh Muhammad Ishaq Al-Qari( Student of Shykh Khalil Al Qari, who was the Shykh of the imams of Haramain) mastering the proper recitation of the Quran.
Qari Zahid has a strong academic background, holding a degree in Islamic Banking and Finance from the Jamia Islamia IIUI, and a Master’s degree in Economics from Karachi University. Additionally, he has completed his Alimiyah and multi-year advanced program in Islamic Jurisprudence , further enriching his knowledge and expertise.
He currently serves as the Assistant Imam and Director of the Alcove Hifz Academy at NBIC and the Director of the Hifz Program at Darul Huda Institute of Hifz al-Quran al-Karim at An-Noor Academy.
