More about our class. The first half of class we will read from Hikam Ibn 'Ata. Students can download the PDF or purchase the book online or at the NBIC store. The second half will be about Fiqh al-Mu'amalat (interactions such as marriage, divorce, conflict, etc.). We will separate into three schools, Hanafi, Maliki, & Shafi'i. Students will choose a madhhab and receive its book. Between Hikam and fiqh, lunch is served for onsite students. (Upon request, students can be given access to the videos of all the madhhabs.)
Every class is livestreamed and saved, then uploaded to the student portal using Google Classrooms. There is a central classroom for everyone, then separate ones for each madhhab.
Onsite students will receive their books in their hands on the first day of class. Online students will purchase their books at a 100% discount from a website to which we will direct you insha Allah.

At Safina, our goal is to graduate solid individuals, grounded in the fundamentals of the eight sciences (Quran, hadith, usul, Arabic, 'aqida, fiqh, tasawwuf & signs of End Times). 'Uwaylim (meaning small scholar) is a track of ten classes (listed below). Students can enter in at any term. When we cycle back and begin from the 101 again, those who entered half-way will take those classes, thereby completing all ten courses. Fall courses are twelve sessions plus an exam. Grades are documented over the years so that we ensure our students are benefitting and are able to answer key questions and engage in vital discussions.
